Don’t ask me why I suddenly like seltzer water…I just do. I know my mom, sister, and SIL are shaking their heads because I’ve always questioned their obsession!
Two. Fructis De-Constructed Beach Chic Spray
If you didn’t already know, I have some seriously curly hair. I prefer to wear it straight because it is unpredictable. However, straightening the beast that lives on my head takes time, and as a new Mommy, I don’t have a lot of time to do my hairs. In comes this spray – I comb my hair after a shower, spray the stuff all over my head, and twist my hair into a loose bun. A few hours later, I take the bun out and voila! Mommy’s hair is wavy, frizz free, and not flat to her head.
Three. Mellow Mushroom’s Dairy Free Cheese Pizza
Get in muh belly! Just one more reason to love me some Mellow Mushroom – the restaurant in our town carries Daiya mozzarella cheese for peeps who can’t have dairy! Granted it doesn’t taste as delicious as the real thing, it is still ooey, gooey, and gets the job done. I was SO excited to find that my local Publix carries the cheddar flavor and have been eating it on tortillas. Mmm mm good.
Four. So You Think You Can Dance Season 11.
It’s finally here – my favorite show of the summer!! Normally I don’t care for the audition episodes because Fox always shows the terrible dancers and I feel sorry for them. This year, however, they’ve been focusing on AMAZING dancers and I loves the audition episodes. Do you watch SYTYCD?
Five. Mommy juice.
Sometimes Mommy needs a glass of juice… especially after a particularly stressful day with a teething baby. Every time Mommy wants a treat on a weeknight, there is NO juice to be found in the house. Yesterday I saw The Naked Grape on sale at Target for $6. I grabbed a bottle thinking this will prob taste like grape juice, but was pleasantly surprised at how good this cheap wine tasted. Have you ever tried The Naked Grape?
I almost bought that beach chic spray the other day at Target but wasn’t sure how well it’d work. Glad to find someone who has used it & loves it! & SYTYCD is only the best part of summer TV. I loved all of the Fik-Shun action this week!
YES loved the Fikshun action!!!! The spray is pretty great but watch out for overuse… I tried to spray more on my hair when it was dry and it just got flat and yucky!
I just recently discovered (after years of sneering at) how delish Le Croix is as well! Granted I discovered how yummy it is with vodka, but still – i always was anti-seltzer!
Ah yes… seltzer and vodka! That is pretty much the only liquor drink that I like these days so I will def be trying my Le Croix with a little vodka this weekend!
I tried the berry La Croix and was not a fan, but I’m thinking I need to try a few others. I’m obsessed with lime anything! I have crazy curly hair too girl, may have to try this Beach Chic stuff out ๐ Happy weekend!
I like the lime flavor because it isn’t too sweet! I am not a fan of the overly sweet seltzer waters out there (grocery store brand is all I’ve had!).

I’ve heard so much about the La Croix water, I may have to finally try it. Looks like it would be perfect for summer! Mommy juice is a must! It sounds bad but I’m counting down the days until baby so I can enjoy a glass. Raising a toddler should not be done without Mommy Juice!
I counted down the days too! But then, when it was time for me to actually have a glass – It didn’t taste right. It took me a lot of “tries” to find a drink that tasted okay! It was like drinking for the first time all over again. With a toddler though – I imagine you can’t wait!
I’ve never tried seltzer water. Hmm.. Pizza looks awesome. I used to watch SYTYCD and I’m kinda out of it…maybe it’s a good time to jump back in.
So far this season of SYTYCD seems pretty great – every year the bar is set higher so the dancers are amazing!
I’m going to have to try the naked grape! I love a glass of wine, but I never finish a bottle in a few days so about half of it gets thrown out… but for $6 I won’t feel so guilt about that!
I am the same way Lisa! I rarely finish a bottle on my own in a weekend and then it ends up going bad! This wine is so cheap that I don’t feel guilty letting it get yucky.
Dairy free or not, that pizza looks delicious. I’ve never tried The Naked Grape before but the next time I make a Target run I’ll be sure to check it out! Have a great weekend!
I had the pizza again yesterday, this time without sauce, and OMG so so good.
I love that pinot! It’s inexpensive, reliable, and doesn’t give me a headache. AND it goes so well with whatever indulgent thing I want to eat on a Friday evening.
