one. Moms supporting Moms.
Thank you thank you thank you for all of your encouragement, support, and stories of your own this past week. I have had so many blog readers comment, email, and message me about my current struggles in Mommyhood telling me, “You’re not alone.” It is incredible how so many women that I have never even met can make me feel so loved. This is one of the reasons why I love the blog world.
two. A good book.
It doesn’t matter that I realized halfway through I read this book sometime long ago. All that matters is I was able to take 60 minutes of uninterrupted time to sit down and READ yesterday. I forgot how amazing it feels to lose oneself in the fictional words of another person. Here’s to hoping I get to finish this book on vacation without a baby slapping me for a new toy.
three. VS Ruffle Halter Top.
Breastfeeding has done a number on this girl’s tots. My mom friends weren’t kidding when they said BF really sucks the life out of you. I was very disappointed to discover NONE of my 30 bathing suit tops from the last 5 years fit right. In walks the VS Ruffle Halter Top. I have never been a fan of bathing suit tops that will give me a tan line, but this sweet baby hides the fact I have one tot 2 cups sizes larger than the other. Right now it is on sale for $21... I just might have to order another.
four. Flavored Almonds.
Oh Blue Diamond, you never cease to amaze me. Blueberry flavored almonds? Honey Chipotle BBQ? These delicious treats are the perfect snack for the car, beach, or really anytime you’re on the go. Mmmmm…
five. silly moments.
Now that the gang is all here, we have officially started our vacation. It is Annabelle’s first trip to the beach and so far she has been nothing but amazing. Moments like this one captured above are the best – the ones you always remember. Here’s to a million more.
Linking up on Carolina Charm for Five on Friday.

Getting lost in a good book is the best! Glad you’re able to get some time to do that while you’re at the beach. Hope y’all continue to have a great first beach trip with Annabelle!

Girl, I hear ya about the tatas. I used to take my ladies for granted and oh how I wish I had them back. I shrunk a whole cup size and it just makes me sad. Oh well, I gotta remember that it’s the best thing I could do for my daughter right? 🙂 I love VS swimsuits; they’ve definitely helped a lot since having a baby.
Love having time to read. I’ve been getting up early every morning to have some quiet time and read. It makes me so relaxed.
Have a great vacation!

I’m trying to remember there are other books on my Nook, besides the ones on sleep training.
As for the tatas, ugh… I went from a small A to a small D, thanks to pregnancy and nursing. I can only imagine how ridiculous I’d look in my swimsuit tops! I miss my small chest. More often than not, I just feel like two boobs walking around. But perhaps I should be careful what I wish for–who knows what they’ll look like when I wean!

I love networking with moms that build you up instead of tearing you down. It’s so encouraging to hear from people that have went through similar things and can say…”this too shall pass.” LOVE that ruffle top–girl, I have three girls (breastfed them) my girls are very, very sad. I’m going bra shopping later this week–dread! Your daughter is precious! Have fun on Memorial Day weekend! Glad to find your blog!!!! Following along.

I have been waiting to read Emily Griffin’s new book for months, it’s the number one thing on my to do list this weekend. It’s amazing what some alone time and a good book can do. Stopping by from the link up!
