You jump, I jump.
Gilmore Girls will always be one of my (and half of the country’s) most beloved television shows. I don’t know if, like me, the episodes that move you to tears are your favorite, but anything that makes me cry is usually a winner. There is so much symbolism in many of the emotional episodes and often quite a bit of realism.
Yes, Rory makes more than enough dumb decisions regarding her love life, but isn’t that how real life really works? All of the instances of grief and self-discovery and the various relationships in the show are relatable.
I can’t wait to watch the Gilmore Girls Netflix special next week. A little part of me is sad once I’ve finished “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” the show is over for good.
Here are some of my favorite moments from Gilmore Girls Seasons 1-7:
Rory and Jess’ first kiss
Rory’s first real breakup
Rory’s graduation speech
The dance breakup
Luke and Lorelai’s First Kiss
There are too many Kirk moments to choose from… I couldn’t find anything from the episode where he gets a cat and names it Kirk.. but that was awesome.
Drunk Sookie
Drunk Emily
Team Logan or Team Jess?
As far as my favorite Rory boyfriend goes, I can’t decide if I am 100% team Logan or team Jess. I have a feeling Rory is going to end up with Dean and make a lot of the world mad… OR she won’t end up with any of the three and make the world really mad. What do you think?

I hope she ends up with Jess. I feel like this “free spirit” they have her pegged as in the preview fits him the most.

What does it say that I’m tearing up just reading your clips. I am so excited for next week but like you I’m a little sad. It’ll be over for good and I’m scared I won’t be happy with her choice or lack of choice. Today I’m Team Jess. Tomorrow I’ll be Team Logan. As long as Luke and Lorelei keep it together, I can handle it!!

Oh my gosh I LOVE this soo much! I”m so excited for next week, but I”m not sure I”m actually ready to watch. I may have to avoid social media for a while to avoid all the spolers! Ha. I’m totally a Logan fan BUT I agree with the Jess above ^^ Jess seems more like reality.

I am SO EXCITED!! I even pulled my husband into the Gilmore Girls mania and we watched all seven season together. I’m Team Logan every step of the way – but I think she won’t end up with any of them. They were all perfect for her at the right time, but life evolves and people change. Including Rory. I”m praying, crossing fingers AND toes and hoping that Lorelei and Luke FINALLY get married.

Oh man, I loved this post! So many great moments… some of my favorites to add would be:
1. When Michele babysat Sookie and Jackson’s baby and accidentally rolled him under the bed, then had to call Lorelai to come get him out
2. The Bracebridge Dinner!
3. When Lorelai and Rory go on an accidental shopping spree with Emily (it’s called Scene in a Mall, by far my favorite episode!)
4. Luke’s sister’s wedding, where Luke and Jess listen to the self help relationship tape.
5. When Lane dies her hair purple and then immediately dies it back to black.
6. Lane’s wedding!
