Looking for bathroom cleaning tips? This is The Easiest Way to Clean Your Bathroom Toilet this Spring.
Spring is here! The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping, and you have that itch to deep clean your bathroom. Think of all the germs collected during the winter! The problem is: you hate cleaning the bathroom because the toilet is your worst enemy. What would you rather do than clean your toilet? Oh I could make quite a list.
The Easiest Way to Clean Your Bathroom Toilet this Spring
In an ideal world, we would all be able to deep clean our bathroom toilet twice a week. But when you’re a Mom of three, there is a chance you only clean the toilet once a week (or maybe every other week!). The easiest way to clean your bathroom toilet is to make it regular! Then you avoid any gross build-up.
5 Tips to Clean Your Bathroom Toilet
- Reduce the water level in the bowl.
- Apply disinfectant to the inside of the bowl (don’t forget to get under the rim). Let it sit!
- Spray down the exterior – toilet seat, the top and bottom of the lid, the base of the toilet, etc. – with disinfectant spray and wipe clean with a towel.
- Scrub thoroughly with a brush and flush to rinse. Wipe down once more with disinfectant in case there were any splashes while scrubbing.
- Don’t forget to disinfect the brush and brush holder and to clean the floor around the toilet.
What I love about this toilet bowl cleaner is how reliable it is! I also like to use this toilet bowl cleaner because it combines the power of bleach and the cleaning action of foaming bubbles. The extended reach neck of the bottle reaches hidden germs, dirt and gross stuff under the rim. After applying the gel to the inside of the rim, I use a brush to scrub. There are powerful bubbles to lift away dirt and grime. What is left behind is a sanitary, clean, and fresh toilet.
When it comes to spring cleaning, your first stop should be the bathroom toilet.
Did you know the average person spends three months of his or her life sitting on a toilet? That said, we all know that a good clean can be ruined after just one use.
5 More Tips for a Cleaner Toilet
- Hate chemicals? Use plain old white vinegar – it is an effective cleaner! Simply pour a cup into the bowl and let it sit while you clean the rest of the bathroom. Bonus: let the vinegar sit in the toilet bowl overnight. Then swish it around the bowl with a toilet brush.
- Keep disinfecting wipes near the toilet. Encourage your family to use disinfecting wipes on the toilet after they visit the bathroom. It’s one simple way to keep germs away!
- Don’t forget the nooks and crannies – use a cheap toothbrush! If chemical cleaning products don’t work for you, wet the toothbrush and add a little baking soda to it to form a paste. Then use it to scrub any problem areas.
- Throw away the carpet that wraps around your toilet. I don’t even want to think about all of the germs living there!
- Try a toilet cleaning stamps – they are very easy to use! Simply apply a gel stamp onto the inside of your toilet bowl using the dispenser. The gel stamp sits discreetly under the rim, lasting for up to 12 days, and providing a 24/7 clean and fresh scent.
