5 Easy and Inexpensive Ways to Decorate for Spring
There are so many different spring decorations you can use in your home. It’s as easy as hanging a faux floral wreath on your door or filling a vase with colorful Easter eggs! These inexpensive spring items can be found at most stores (or maybe you already have them in your own home). Here are five Easy and Inexpensive Ways to Decorate for Spring.
Decorate Your Home with Spring Flowers
Flowers can brighten up any space whether they are fresh or faux flowers. Fresh Tulips on the dining room table, artificial Eucalyptus in a small vase on my desk, and a floral arrangement by the kitchen sink are little reminders of the new life that comes during springtime.
My floral kitchen and front door wreaths are handmade by Creations by JoyBelle (Roseford Lane) on Etsy. I love how she incorporates spring decor into my home.
I really love fresh flowers, but floral bouquets can be expensive. Trader Joe’s has a fantastic flower selection with long lasting flowers at low prices. The Trader Joe’s Eucalyptus smells so good and can be used even when it dries out. We also have local farms that sell $5 bouquets alongside the road starting around Mother’s Day. Farmer’s Markets are a great spot to find spring florals for your home too!
In my home I hang silk floral wreaths or faux boxwoods in the kitchen, dining room, and bedroom. I love using artificial floral wreaths in my home because they last forever. A bouquet of silk tulips is just as beautiful as real tulips (and last longer!).

Faux flowers are easy to buy online in bulk or at craft stores if you want to create your own wreath or bouquet. My floral kitchen and front door wreaths are handmade by Creations by JoyBelle (Roseford Lane) on Etsy. I love how she incorporates spring decor into my home.
Spring Decorating Tip: I shop around for the best deals before making a purchase at Target, Dollar Tree, Walmart, and Goodwill for Easter decorations.
Spring Themed Decorations Can Be Easter Decor Too
Many of the spring themed decorations around my home are actually Easter decorations. It’s very convenient how Easter decorations can double as spring decor, so I keep many items up for months. Moss bunnies, for example, can stay on the shelves before, during, and after the Easter holiday.
I decorated our bar cart with a vase full of dollar store eggs, faux flowers, and a wooden bunny. Colorful Easter eggs and bunnies in different textures are an easy way to add a little bit of whimsy to a room.

Place Spring Throw Pillows Around the Home
An easy way to brighten up your living room or bedroom is to switch out your throw pillows. Pillow covers (these are my favorite) are inexpensive, as is looking for end of season sales on pillows at home decor stores. You can find spring pillows at many stores too.
Decorate with Homemade Spring Art
There is nothing more precious than a handprint bunny or hand-painted bouquet of flowers by a child. Decorate your home with homemade spring artwork. My daughters love art projects so we make painted canvases to use as decor for each season. If you don’t have kids, try your hand at painting something yourself!
The Most Affordable Spring Decor is What You Already Own
Milk glass is one of the first items I started collecting when we moved into our new house in 2018. Milk glass is a great spring decoration on its own or with seasonal items in the vases. For spring, simply put a branch of faux or real Eucalyptus or Pussy Willow into a vase. I buy real Eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s and my sister grows a Pussy Willow tree in her backyard, but you can find all faux plants online.
Annabelle loves bunnies, so she has a few bedroom decorations that I bring downstairs during the spring. Everyone loves spring bunny decor, right?

As you can see, it can be easy and inexpensive to decorate for spring. From decorating with fresh or faux flowers, switching out your throw pillows, or allowing your children to create spring art, there are fun ways to make your house feel as spring-y inside as it does outside.

The decor is so comfy chic, and I love the fact that is affordable.
These are such great ways to decorate for Spring! I love the idea of switching out small things so it doesn’t cost too much. Great post girl!
I love switching out decor for Spring! I really love pastel blues, greens and pinks, so Spring decor is my jam. Switching out pillow covers, instead of buying a bunch of pillows, is what I do too. They are way easier to store season by season.
I must admit that I am TERRIBLE at decorating for each season. About the only exception is Christmas – and that’s when I go all out. But you’re inspiring me to try something new and decorate for spring. Maybe then I’ll look forward to it a little more!
Adding flowers around the house is such a great way to welcome spring with open arms.
I love this post it has motivated me to decorate this weekend for spring. Thanks for the much needed nudge.
