Looking for a DIY tooth fairy costume for Halloween? Look no further… Annabelle’s Halloween Tooth Fairy Costume is easy to make, inexpensive, and adorable.
Ever since Annabelle read “Peppa Pig – The Tooth Fairy” she has been obsessed with the Tooth Fairy. She doesn’t quite understand it will be awhile until she loses a tooth and has her first visit from the tiny lady, but it doesn’t stop her from pretending. She requested a TF costume for Halloween, but I knew that would not be something sold in stores so I checked the price of outfits on Etsy. I realized that $60 for a Halloween costume was out of the question, so I decided to make my own.
Materials:
Fairy wings, wand, and crown- Home Goods (I’ve heard the Dollar Store has fairy kits as well)
Glitter foam sheets –Ā Pink, gray, white
Hot glue gun
Tutu skirt and shirt from Old Navy
Anyone can make this costume! It is so easy.
I drew various size teeth on the back of the glitter foam and cut them out. I glued the glittery foam teeth to the wings, headband, and wand. I added a few teeth to the ribbons on the wand too.
In a few years, Annabelle will receive her first prize from the Tooth Fairy. I hate to think how that day might be here before we know it! For now I am going to embrace her innocence and allow her to play the Tooth Fairy, placing gold coins beneath my pillow as I pretend to sleep on the couch.
Oh my gosh how cute!
Such a precious concept / costume!!
This is so adorable!
