Boy did this week fly by!
I am so happy that by 4:30pm I will be on my way to one of my favorite places (the grocery store – yes I am a loser) to pick up ingredients I need for tonight’s dinner. Mr. Bear has been craving a shredded chicken burrito since he went to Northern California for work and I am challenging myself to make the greatest burrito of all time and win his heart over.
On Monday he went to Chipolte with hopes of satisfying his Mexican craving, but was greatly disappointed with their S-C-B. Then he tried trusty ole Taco Bell and was just as upset with their C-B. My job tonight is to make a BETTER burrito than this so called most perfect burrito ever he ate in the dining hall at Chico. If I am successful, hopefully I’ll get a big smooch and lots of beers at the Red Sox game tomorrow.
My parents gave Mr. Bear an early birthday gift while we were visiting Easter weekend – tickets to the Red Sox v Orioles game tomorrow! I am super excited to (a) finally see my Red Sox this season and (b) visit Camden Yards for the first time! It has been wayyyy too long since I’ve been to a Red Sox game and I can’t wait to see them play my new state’s team
(Sorry Orioles. I don’t think I will ever be able to cheer for you. My heart belongs to the Sox)
Last time we were at Fenway – Spring 2008
The last Red Sox game we attended – Red Sox against the Braves at Turner Field. Even though I lived in Atlanta, I still sported my Red Sox hat =0)
Camden Yards looks pretttty awesome – I can’t wait!
Saturday’s game is at 7pm, so we will probably walk around the Inner Harbor (and hopefully check out the pirate boat and show I always see going on). We are going to the game on Sunday too – which is thankfully a day game – because I need to take advantage of our weekend weather forecast: LOTS O SUN!
Do you have a favorite MLB team?

I hate baseball, but John and all of our friends are HUGE O’s fans. While at Camden Yards, make sure to get Noah’s Pretzels- homemade and SO GOOD. Definitely the highlight of baseball games for me π

Oh I love me some baseball! My heart belongs to the St Louis Cardinals and I cannot wait for next weekend because we will be going down to PNC Park in Pittsburgh for 2 games! Horray for baseball!! Have a great weekend – it sounds like a blast! AND, i can’t wait to see this burrito! Sounds amazing! yummm

Camden Yards is gorgeous! We used to go there all the time growing up, since the Nationals didn’t come until my senior year in hs. The brick work is really pretty, and of course the Inner Harbor is gorgeous when the weather is nice. Enjoy!

Oh I am so jealous on the baseball!! I went to my first ever MLB game in August and how amazing that my first game was IN Boston. My jaw dropped when I walked into that park. It was just amazing.
Anyway – my favorite team are the Toronto Blue Jays… but that’s because I’m Canadian right?! Marcus has started to take a crazy liking to Baseball too and I am SO excited about that!!
I can’t wait to hear how dinner goes tonight. I love love love Mexican food. I made a delicious Black Bean Chicken Soup mexican style the other night and I am still eating it for left overs π Yummo!
Happy Friday!

how much FUN! i wish i could say i have loyalty to a mlb team, but sadly i’m not sure baseball’s as big here in the south as it is in the north. mainly because our teams SUCK. and teams in the north have such cool history, notsomuch in the south. i mean sure, we had nolan ryan, like a bajillion years ago, but not as cool as players that date back to the early 1900’s π

I am jealous of your sun and baseball game. We’re expecting lots and lots of rain. π I am a Cards fan myself. Have fun at the game! And I can’t wait to hear about your burrito. Sounds deeeelicious!

Have fun at the game this weekend! My MIL went to a game at Camden. She still raves about how beautiful the park is and how great the food is at Camden.
I am a White Sox fan! I didn’t grow up around any major league teams so I adopted my husbands favorite team when he and I started dating. But I could name the starting line up and back ups so I took it seriously! lol

Good luck with the burrito making! I’m sure Mr. Bear is going to love it!

Thanks for the sweet comment.
As far as the eloping, your reasons not to elope are the very reasons why I know I could never bring myself to do it.
After being with Tyler for 5 years, and wanting to move forward with other aspects of being together… the whole NOT being married thing can be a lil tricky! But I know that love is patient… and our day will come. “Rain” or “Shine”. Thanks for your encouragement.
Come to Texas and I will take you to a Ranger vs Red Sox game at the Ballpark in Arlington!
