I could not have imagined a more beautiful November weekend here in Connecticut. Not only was the weather perfect, but we spent it with loved ones for my Fall Baby Sprinkle and a Double Baptism. Here is our Weekend Recap. Enjoy!
Fall Baby Sprinkle
My sisters hosted a baby sprinkle for me on Saturday complete with festive fall florals and an autumnal charcuterie board. They also served chili (turkey and vegetarian), pizza balls (my favorite), an autumn salad, and Caprese skewers. For dessert we had apple pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecakes, and vegan sugar cookies. Everything was delicious!
We were so overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support from our family and friends for the new baby. The sprinkle felt more like a baby shower! My project this week is to put away all of our gifts and wash adorable tiny baby clothes!

A Double Baptism
My mother in law flew in from Tennessee for the weekend’s events. We celebrated Annabelle and Ailey’s baptisms with family at church and then went to lunch at the girls’ favorite restaurant. I couldn’t have imagined a more special Sunday after the baby sprinkle on Saturday and was so thankful my mother-in-law could be here!
Some other thoughts…
Physically I’m feeling great after the preterm labor scare a week and a half ago. I am trying to enjoy every little moment as a family of four before we become a family of five!
