The Best Car Seat Cover by Audrey’s Bear

I never knew how much a Mom needs a car seat cover until now! Read my review of a car seat cover from Audrey’s Bear.

When we chose our newest little girl’s name before she was born, I knew I wanted it printed everywhere. One of my favorite personalized items I ordered before she was born is a Magnolia printed swaddle. Audrey’s Bear makes the best jersey cotton swaddles because they are so soft, so stretchy, and absolutely adorable. I know Ailey will cherish this special blanket for years to come since it is what we wrapped her in after she was born. 

Audrey’s Bear is a special Etsy shop because of their swaddle4swaddle program. Every time someone purchases one of their swaddle blankets, they donate a similar blanket to a baby in a NICU or a pediatric cancer center.

I was very excited when they offered to send us a car seat cover in the same pink and green Magnolia print as Ailey’s swaddle. I love this car seat cover because it triples as a cover, blanket, and a nursing cover. There are so many times that I am out in public and forget a nursing cover! You just pop the cover over your head and take care of business.

The car seat cover is made out of the same stretchy, soft jersey cotton as the swaddle.

The fabric is comfortable, breathable, and easy to use. You just slide it over the top of the car seat and there is a place to grab the handle or peek in at your baby. When we are at the grocery store, or any place in public really, I whip out the cover. I like to keep Ailey under wraps since strangers always feel the need to peek in, and sometimes touch, babies.

Another bonus -if I have to pull her out to change her, I can use the cover as a blanket or something to lay down quickly on a surface. Both Ailey’s swaddle and car seat cover are machine washable, so I never worry about the elements dirtying it up.

I don’t know how I never used a car seat cover with Annabelle because now I never leave home without it.
