Looking to host a baby in bloom baby shower? I am so excited to share details from my sister’s garden themed baby shower brunch at a local historic library. The theme “Baby in Bloom” is a concentration on simple, neutral floral decor. With the exception of the vases (purchased at Big Lots), everything was handmade (by family/friends) or came from one of our homes.

A Baby in Bloom shower would not be complete without fresh flowers.
We used real books from the venue as centerpieces to hold the fresh flowers from Trader Joe’s. All of the large vases were purchased at Big Lots and the smaller vases came from my other sister’s personal collection.

We used an antique flower seed box used to hold Thank You card envelopes that each guest filled out during present time.

We chose the children’s book “I Wish You More” to serve as a guest book for everyone to sign with a “wish” for the new baby.

The Mom-to-Be’s sister-in-law purchased Cloth Bandana Bibs, stencils, and waterproof markers so that guests could make personalized bibs for the new baby. The activity, Design a Bib for the Baby, was a fun thing to do for guests.
