Our third daughter, Arbor, is twelve months old. I’m sharing her 12 month old stats with 52 week old traits, likes and dislikes, and more! HAPPY ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY ARBOR!
Arbor’s Twelve Month Old Stats
Weight – 22.8 lbs
Height – 2ft 6 inches (31.3 inches tall)
Arbor is currently wearing 18+ month clothing depending on the brand. She wears size 3 diapers.

Teeth: 8 – the pediatrician says she doesn’t see any sign of molars yet!
Sleep: Arbor is a rockstar sleeper and I am SO thankful for that! She loves her crib – and actually doesn’t like sleeping anywhere else. She doesn’t even enjoy a car nap! Arbor is very into routines and likes to stick to her schedule. Arbor wakes at 6:30am, naps from 8:45-9:45am, naps from 1:00pm – 2:45pm, and gets tired for bed around 5:30pm. We do bath time, books, song, and she is asleep by 6-6:30pm every night!
She has changed our lives…
Before I get into more details about Arbor at 12 months old, I just have to say how much Arbor has changed our lives FOR THE BEST. We’ve always been a solid foursome, but we are so much better as a five some. I love the time we spend together with Arbor – they way she watches her big sisters in awe is amazing. And the manner in which her sisters nurture and take care of her is priceless. Brandon and I are so lucky to have three incredible daughters!
Arbor’s Favorites at 12 Months Old
Firsts: Arbor’s first snow experience was at a very young age so she doesn’t remember it… and we are honoring this month as her first REAL snow! She loved seeing it land on her little hands and feeling the flakes on her face. Since she isn’t walking yet, she liked sitting in lawn while the snow fell around her. It was so cute!
We took Arbor and her big sister’s to New York City for Annabelle’s 9th birthday on 12/13. Arbor enjoyed herself at the American Girl Cafe eating everything in front of her (and trying to touch Annabelle’s doll).
Our little Arbor is a little copycat and mimics a lot of what we do. She likes to brush her or our hair and is learning how to help take off her clothes. If she doesn’t know what something is she will point and ask “What’s that?” It’s so funny how Arbor seems to listen to what we tell her too! We believe she comprehends more than anyone thinks – the pediatrician agreed at our one year checkup!
Favorite Things: Watching music videos (The 1975 and “All I Want for Christmas is You”, flying on her bouncy unicorn, blueberries, Christmas lights, waking up her sisters in the morning in their bed, playing peekaboo (using anything she can find), walking around outside and looking at things, poking your eyes, looking inside your mouth at your tongue and teeth.
Arbor loves taking baths and sitting up in her baby tub. She plays with her boats and squishy toys under the running water – sometimes sticking her own head under the water. However, she doesn’t like when you pour water over her head to rinse out her shampoo!

Favorite Toys: Everything and anything her big sisters play with. The Tonies Box is a go-to every day – especially with the Tonie that sings the “Let’s get ready” song. She is starting to enjoy pushing cars around the playroom. She likes the American Girl doll kitchen and washer/dryer system.
Dislikes: being told No, not being able to do something she wants to do on her own, if you take too long to feed her or do something that you tell her you’re going to do (i.e. eat). She also does NOT like Santa Clause.
