A little bit of what I’m loving lately is maternity fashion, bad mom humor, big sister preparations and my Mom’s cooking.
one.

I’m loving this trend I saw on Instagram. The ole t-shirt tied above the belly over a maxi dress is quite the comfortable ensemble. Not only does it cover my arms, but my oversized boobs and granny bra straps. I only wish I tried it earlier in my pregnancy!
two.

My BFF Kim and I went to see Bad Moms last Saturday and the movie did not disappoint. We laughed so hard that we cried, but we left the theater feeling great from all the giggles. Kathryn Hahn is so vulgar and probably my favorite character in the movie for all the crazy that comes out of her mouth! Have you seen the movie yet?
three.

Tuesday morning it was actually not deathly hot outside. I was able to hang out with Annabelle while she played in her kiddie pool with Bay-bay for the first time in weeks. For some reason, she hates actually swimming around in the pool, though and refuses to go down the slide. Her baby dolls have a great time doing it for her, though.
four.

Whenever my Mom is in town, I always eat so well. She makes everything from quiche to chicken soup to all of my favorite Italian dishes. Since I rarely eat red meat and she is a vegetarian, she whipped up a batch of zucchini meatballs for us on Sunday. O. M. G. They were SO good! She found the recipe on SkinnyTaste and while she said they are a pain in the rear to make, they were totally worth the work.

Big Sister Mail is probably one of the coolest ideas I have ever heard of. I found Bumpmail on Etsy a few months ago and they’ve been sending Annabelle a letter from her new baby sister every couple of weeks. Annabelle LOVES getting the big envelope in the mail with her name on it and reading what Ailey has written to her. Once we meet baby sister, I’ll be blogging all about these unique cards. In the meantime, you can use Confessions of a Northern Belle at checkout for 20% anything in the shop!

That bumpmail is seriously the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!
I haven’t seen Bad Moms yet, but everyone has been saying how good it is, so I hope to see it soon!!
Happy Friday!
Bumpmail sounds adorable. Speaking of adorable, I LOVE Miss Annabelle’s flamingo suit!!!
I wanna try zucchini meatballs!
I love the shirt-tied-over-maxi look. Since I’ve ruined (stretched out weirdly) some tops in the past trying to do that, I went ahead and got some crop tops to wear over bodycon dresses this pregnancy. I tried them recently and think they’ll work nicely!!!
Also love the Bumpmail!! I’ve been trying to start to think on ways to get Lilly acclimated to the idea of a baby coming to live with us. It’s hard since she’s so little herself…
I love the look of the t-shirt with the maxi dress. If only I would have done that when I was pregnant. You look great by the way! I’ve heard that bad moms is really funny. Reality is I probably won’t get to the movies to see it on the big screen but it will be on my list to rent. Beautifully Candid
You looks adorable in that maxi/tshirt combo! Super cute!!!! I LOVED Bad Moms, too. Such a great movie – so many laughs! Have a great weekend!
Bump Mail looks like a genius idea! I have been trying to seriously cut back on my red meat consumption so those zucchini meatballs intrigue me.
Those big sister cards are so sweet! And I love the t-shirt over the dress look!
How cute is that big sister mail! And loving that pregnancy look idea, I’ll have to try it with my ever growing bump! Happy Friday <3
