Caitlin Houston is 32 weeks pregnant and sharing my symptoms, weight gain, cravings and more. Here is my 32 week bump update.
How far along are you? 32 weeks
How I’m feeling: Tired tired tired. Read all about it here.
Total weight gain: I’ll find out on Monday… I am sure I’ve gained 2lbs. It seems I gain 1lb a week.
Cool baby facts: She has moved on a diagonal and is most likely head down – getting ready for birth!
How big is baby? Annabelle is the size of a squash.
Sleep: Averaging 6 1/2 hours with at least 2 bathroom breaks and then 2 wake-ups to get comfortable. I’ve been taking off my pjs in the middle of the night because I feel like my body is on fire. So hot. So so hot.
Maternity Clothes: Maternity jeans or leggings with a tunic/dress on top.
Best pregnancy moment this week
Annabelle had the hiccups! It was the cutest but weirdest thing ever.
Movement: She moves almost every hour. Her feet are resting under my ribs and boy does it hurt. She tickles my hip bone with her hands. She seems like she has grown and has less space to move.
Food cravings: Still eating ice… by the cupful. B thought our ice machine was broken because every time he went to get some, the bucket was empty. Also – frosted animal crackers dipped in peanut butter is dangerously delicious.
Food aversions: Nothing
Belly button in or out: Mr. Belly Button likes to show himself off through my shirts.
What I miss: Feeling comfortable in my undies – nothing feels right. I don’t want to buy maternity undies because I HATE full bottom skivvies (I have weird shaped butt). So I still wear a thong (unless one of my 4 pairs of boyshorts are clean) and well… its uncomfortable.
What I’m looking forward to: Finishing our Childbirth Preparation classes tomorrow. My mom coming to visit next week. Possibly getting a 3D/4D ultrasound!
Randoms: I have a vulvar varicose vein that makes basically every position, but laying down, painful. It is located near the top of my lady part area, so all my pants and leggings press on it. I have been icing it with a bag of Edamame, but it only feels better for 15 minutes, and then starts throbbing again.
