A woodland second themed birthday party would not be complete without a Winter Woodland High Chair Birthday Banner.
Our little deer turned two in the cutest high chair banner c/o Raw Edge Sewing Company, an Etsy shop that makes handmade banners and home decor with a vintage touch. I sent the designer a few ideas of what we had in mind for a high chair banner and she sent me back some ideas of her own. What she created was perfect for Annabelle’s Winter Woodland themed birthday party AND coincidentally matches our home decor. That means our little deer gets to keep her birthday high chair banner up until she turns three!
The Raw Edge Sewing Co. makes custom banners for birthdays or special occasions. Annabelle’s birthday banner is unique because you can see how each piece of fabric was hand cut with care and the tiny fawn on the front was ordered especially for her! You can purchase a premade banner with a male deer on it here, or request a replica of Annabelle’s. The banner is attached to twine so you can hang it on a wall or attach it to the high chair itself. I can truly tell a lot of love was put into Annabelle’s birthday banner – the carefully chosen fabric ribbons and the beautiful fawn. We will always cherish her second birthday banner!

Sewing, crafting, and creating is in my blood! I remember my mother always sewing when I was a little girl. She raised five children, four of us were girls so she was a busy seamstress always making our Easter and Christmas dresses. She still sews on the same machine she had before I was born and even acquired a talking machine that I heard through the walls at night while I fell asleep as a child!
My mother encouraged me to open my first Etsy shop back in 2008. I had such a great experience with it I decided to open my second shop in 2014. And so Raw Edge Sewing Co was born!
Creating beautiful banners for my customers is my passion. I love when a custom order comes my way, the challenge feeds my passion.
I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love, working from my home surrounded by the people I love, my hard working husband and my three beautiful daughters.
