When I was planning Annabelle’s birthday party, I saw so many ideas on Pinterest that I became overwhelmed. I also realized I didm’t want to copy everyone else’s Woodland parties and that there had to be other variations of the theme. I’ve never used Etsy for party decor, but when I found Charming Touch Parties I knew I wanted to see what the shop had to offer. They were more than happy to work with me on Annabelle’s birthday party decorations! 
After multiple conversations, we decided to go with their Peace and Joy theme (no longer available), with a couple of alterations to the color scheme. The background is a beautiful sweater print and its overlayed with pinecones and pine needles. I thought that the sweater and pine went perfect with my Christmas-y Woodland vision. Charming Touch Parties sent us a variety of straws, napkin ring holders, water bottle covers, and blank food tents.

The Charming Touch Parties Etsy shop has so many different themes to choose from, plus the option for customization, for anyone planning a party. I asked the shop owners to tell me a little about themselves. Here is what they had to say:
Our names are Val and Jen and we are the faces behind Charming Touch Parties, a boutique party decor and styling business based in the Chicago suburbs. We met 9 1/2 years ago when our twins were babies. We share a love of crafting and hosting sweet parties and both have a passion for charming details. When planning our own children’s parties or social gatherings for friends and family, we have found immense joy and excitement creating warm, fun, “charming” events. Even with all the hard work and planning, these parties were as fun for us as they were for our families. Afterwards, so many people said to us enthusiastically “Wow, you’re perfect for this!” or “You should do this for a living!” With all of this encouragement and love, Charming Touch Parties blossomed into reality. All of the paper products by Charming Touch Parties were made with high quality cardstock and attention to detail. I love how I could add the names of the food dishes to the food tents with my own markers. I even made a mistake on one of them, but used a little bit of white card stock to cover my boo-boo and it was not noticeable. My favorite item was the water bottle covers. What a difference it makes to remove the generic water bottle label and replace it with something that matches your party theme!
