When we decided to have a Winter Woodland birthday party for Annabelle’s second birthday, I knew I wanted her to wear something with a deer head on it. She loves when we see deer in my parents backyard in CT, so there would be no way she could resist a tutu deer outfit! I searched my favorite source for handmade items, Etsy, for deer AND tutu. I stumbled upon the Taddle Tell Shop and immediately fell in love with the fact that they had a bajillion options for tutus and tops. There were a couple of options for glitter deer tutu sets, but nothing in our color scheme.
I contacted them in hopes that they could make something special for Annabelle, and the owners were more than happy to meet my every need. Red, black, plaid, and adorable is what we were hoping for and the Taddle Tell Shop surely delivered!
Annabelle can be weird about wearing a tutu. Sometimes she is all about them – and other times, well, it ends up on the floor. Her birthday outfit was a different story. Annabelle LOVED wearing her tutu and the glitter deer shirt. Everything was soft, comfortable, and easy for a toddler to run around in. The shirt is not attached to the tutu, so she can wear it with anything she wants another time. The plaid ribbon was connected to the tutu, so I didn’t have to worry about it falling off. I paired the outfit with gold bow black tights and plaid Freshly Picked moccasins.
