Impromptu date nights were common when Brandon and I lived in Georgia. There wasn’t anyone to watch the kids at the drop of a hat, so we always planned our date nights around family visits. Since we moved to Connecticut, we have been able to go out spontaneously. Sneaking out with my husband is always fun, but a last minute date night outfit is stressful to plan, especially during the winter.
Staples for a Date Night Outfit
As a fashion conscious Mom, I find it important to have a few staple items in my closet for a last minute date night outfit (or even a girls night). Anything black and white is versatile – so whether it’s black bottoms and a white top, or white bottoms and a black top, you can put together a date night outfit easily.
White jeans are an item I love to wear year-round and if you have the right pair, then you can dress them up for a night out with your love. With white jeans, you can wear virtually any color on top, but black is chic, classic, and flattering.
