Hello Confession of a Northern Belle readers!
I’m Kristina and I blog over at Pretty Rambles.
Over at Pretty Rambles, I blog about my life as a wife, dog mom and mommy to be! It has been so nice sharing my pregnancy journey with Caitlin. So, while she awaits the arrival of her little Christmas present, I thought I would share a bit of my pregnancy wisdom with you all. I’m currently in my 3rd trimester. I’m due January 11th and these items below have been a life saver for me.
Pregnancy Must Haves by kj2380 featuring a queen bedding
Granola- I always have these in my purse or desk at work. When hunger strikes during pregnancy it’s great to be prepared. I also make sure to always have yogurt in the fridge.
Belly Butter- I have been blessed to make it this far with out any stretch marks. I don’t know if it’s good genes or the Momma Bee Belly Butter. I use this religiously!
Open Front Cardigan- During the early parts of my pregnancy I did a good job of hiding my bump and I did it with a lot of black. Now that I’m further along I love the open font cardigan. They fit no matter what and they have been great for the season changes
Belly Band- Maternity jeans can be rather pricey. My suggestion is to purchase a belly band ($15) and wear it with your pre maternity jeans as long as you can before purchasing maternity jeans. I did not do this and I regret it because most of my maternity jeans are not comfortable and sit to high on my tummy.
Maternity Leggings- I have 4 pair. I basically live in these things!
Water Bottle- Always stay hydrated. I prefer water bottles with straws because I tend to drink more with a straw. I also find it easy to keep track of what I’m drinking when I reuse the same bottle.
Tums- I suffer terrible heartburn. I can’t sleep with out these things! I usually sleep with them laying on my chest or in my hand!
Seltzer- Bottles of seltzer have been a lifesaver. During the queasiness of my 1st trimester they eased the yuck.
Pillows- The more the merrier!
Comfy Shoes- If your feet hurt it can ruin your entire mood. I suggest whatever is most comfy.
Hot Water Bottle- During pregnancy you can not use heating pads so the old fashioned water bottle is perfect for all the aches you may be feeling.
What are some things that got you through your pregnancy?
Thank you Caitlin for letting me share with your bloggy buddies!
