Are you planning a family vacation in the Northeast? Woodloch Pines Resort is a must-visit all inclusive family resort located in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at family owned Woodloch Pines Resort jam packed with fun, laughter, and memory making.
Stay
There are many different places to stay when you’re visiting Woodloch Pines Resort. My family had an Edgewater Suite in the Springbrook building, which was connected to the indoor pool and water park. All suites are comfy and cozy, featuring two queen beds in one room and a pull-out couch in the living room.
Our suite was huge! In addition to the adequate space to sleep, there was plenty of living space. The suite had two bathrooms (one with a standup shower and the other with a bathtub), a coffee station with mini-fridge and microwave, and two giant closets. The living room’s sliding glass doors opened to a private balcony with the most spectacular view of Lake Teedyuskung.
The beds were comfortable, the television had the Disney channel for morning cartoons, and the girls loved standing at the balcony window to admire the beautiful lake. Even though we didn’t spend much time in our room since there was so much to do and see around Woodloch Pines Resort, we really appreciate the lodging.

Play
At Woodloch Pines Resort there is more to do than you can imagine. Our family had SO much fun every second of our stay!
At breakfast each morning, the daily schedule is present on your table. The day is split into three sections and filled with activities for guests of all ages. During our stay there was a Winter Festival, Gingerbread Wars, and a Petting Zoo.
In addition to all of the fun and games, there are amenities specific to the season in which you visit. The Forest Indoor Playground was a favorite spot for the girls’ to run and play since it was so chilly outside. There was a toddler spot for Ailey and a giant obstacle course with a super fast slide for the bigger kids.
There is an Arts & Crafts Room and a Kids Club Room – You can find a scheduled fun or everything you need to have a good time on your own!
We also stopped by the North Lodge for hot chocolate, happy hour, and shuffleboard!
We didn’t get to take pictures doing EVERYTHING we did. The girls had a blast at the Indoor Pool/Splash Zone while I went to the Spa at The Lodge at Woodloch.
One of the most fun things we did – ice skating and snow tubing! Annabelle will always remember her first time ice skating at Woodloch Pines!
There are countless fun activities, day or night!
One night after dinner we found staff with a Smores’ table set up next to a fire pit. Annabelle and Ailey were THRILLED to make their very own Smores for dessert.
There was SO much to do at Woodloch that we didn’t get to do it all. Plus the girls go to bed around 8pm, so we ended up in our room pretty early. From Horse Racing to a 90s Theme Show on Saturday night, there’s truly something to do at any time of day.
Eat
Traveling as a family of four is always an adventure when it is time to eat. Finding something that everyone likes to eat can be difficult when you have two picky little girls. Thankfully Woodloch Dining has you covered with their all-inclusive meal plans. We were signed up for the American Plan that includes three family style meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – served in the Main Dining Room. We ate SO well!
There are multiple options at each meal for a starter, entree, and dessert. You’re allowed to order as much or as little as you want, so I may or may not have had a couple different plates in front of me at any given time. One of my favorite meals was the BUFFET on our last day! There were crab legs, stuffed shells, an antipasto station, and so many sweet treats. We ate until our hearts content before heading home.
Keep your eyes peeled for character visits – they are always on the schedule and can be found outside the main dining room before each meal!
Does your family have food allergies? Ailey has a sesame and chickpea allergy and Woodloch contacted us before our visit to confirm the food options available for our little one. There was also a special form on our table to notify any and all servers of Ailey’s allergy. I was so impressed with their attention to this important detail!
Woodloch is known for their incredibly delicious homemade bakery items, like apple crumb coffee cake I’m still dreaming about. All guests can order bakery items to take home and I truly regret not doing so. PLUS, all of their ice cream and desserts are homemade too. My daughters (and Brandon) ate homemade ice cream after every meal!
There are a la carte dining options, as well as restaurants on the other Woodloch properties. Need a box lunch? Our server made Brandon lunch-to-go while he sat with Ailey who was napping in our room.
One of the a la carte dining options at Woodloch Pines is Gigi’s Coffee House. Stop in for a freshly brewed coffee, fruit smoothie, homemade scone, lunch sandwich, and so much more. Every morning I walked to Gigi’s to pick up Caramel Almond Milk Lattes for us to enjoy before breakfast. Fun Fact – Gigi’s Coffee House is a REAL house. Originally the home to Mary Kiesendahl’s mother, Grandma Mould, Gigi’s Coffee House stands as tribute to the matriarch of Woodloch.
Annabelle and Ailey have been asking when we are going back to Woodloch Pines since we pulled out of the resort!
Woodloch Pines Resort is by far one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed in the United States. From the all-inclusive meals, to the countless amenities and activities, from the most friendly staff to the GORGEOUS property, a vacation at Woodloch Pines Resort is one you will never forget.
Woodloch prides themselves on making their guests feel like they’re a part of the family that built the resort itself. Our family made everlasting memories together during our visit that we will treasure for years to come. I can say firsthand that Woodloch treated us just like family and I can’t thank them enough for our incredibly memorable weekend!

I’m sure finding family friendly vacations where the parents still get to feel like they are having fun can be hard. I imagine something all inclusive where you don’t have to worry about planning the next activity or fretting over finding the right restaurant to appease the kiddos is really the way to go! Glad you had such an amazing trip!
