Hello March! Another month is over and we are officially moving into what is supposed to be the warmer time of the season. “Supposed to” being the key words as there isn’t any warm weather in sight. February was chilly, busy, and filled with quite a bit of excitement. What I’m Loving Lately is a recap of a fabulous February and preview of what’s to come in March. Enjoy!

Our Family Vacation to Woodloch
My family had the incredible pleasure of visiting Woodloch Pines Resort in the Poconos Mountains for a long weekend during February. I truly appreciate any kind of vacation that brings our little family closer together – and our time at Woodloch Pines did just that! I’ll be posting a full recap of our stay soon, but here are a couple of photos in the meantime.

Skin Care and Beauty Products
I’ve never cared more about my skin that I do in 2019… last year I started getting Dysport injections to weaken the muscles around the scar between my eyebrows. Then starting in January, I started following a regimen to improve my skin’s appearance and preserve any signs of youth I might have left. Hydration is key (I’ve learned) and achieved with serums containing Hyaluronic Acid. I’m also obsessed with different under eye creams and serums for tightening and brightening.

Annabelle’s Preschool Sock Hop
One of the million reasons we love Annabelle’s preschool is for the family fun activities they offer outside of school. For Annabelle’s class this year they hosted a Sock Hop, complete with choreographed 50s dances and artwork. Annabelle took Brandon and I as her dates and we had the best time ever! I am having a hard time believing Annabelle is going to Kindergarten next year.

How I’m Decorating My Home
Even though we still have Christmas wreaths on the exterior of our home in MARCH, I have put up some spring decorations inside. The Christmas wreaths are coming down today… don’t you worry.

Tulips might be my favorite fresh flower and I picked up a bouquet from Trader Joe’s over a week and a half ago that still look amazing. I wanted to hang something above my kitchen window that was light, beautiful, and airy – thanks to the incredibly talented Creations by JoyBelle I have the perfect wreath for the season! Use code BELLE15 to get 15% off any of her gorgeous wreaths. Check out some of my favorites:
I’ve been scouring Goodwill and Savers for trinkets and treasures for our built-ins. So far I’ve been lucky finding great used books and beautiful milk glass, but it just isn’t enough to fill our shelves. I’m sharing my progress on Instagram and always asking for your opinions. Next month I’m collaborating with one of my favorite home decor bloggers and she is going to show me how to style them!

What I Cooked for the Family
I’ve been trying to cook more GOOD FOOD for the family this year and share those recipes with you here on the blog. In February I made a lot of delicious meals but only posted TWO recipes… my apologies. In case you missed them, here is my Dairy Free Shrimp and Asparagus Risotto and the BEST Homemade Pancakes ever.

What’s Coming Up in March…
During March we have a lot planned – a trip to Woodstock, Vermont and then a very long vacation to Tennessee/Georgia to visit our family. Plus, I’ll be going to New York City twice – to see Fleetwood Mac and for a blog collaboration. March is sure to fly by with how much we have going on, but I hope to soak up every second that I can!
Love this!! You family get away looked so fun & I adore you and your daughters’ matching outfits!! Too cute. Have a good weekend!!
