I saw these on a random shoe blog… haven’t tried them, but they look like a brilliant idea! The flats fold up and fit in your purse for when you’re out on the town and need to take those blisterforming heels off!
I am a HUGE fan of Cecily von Ziegesar. I’ve read every Gossip Girl book (before the show even started) and It Girl book by her. I was super duper pumped when I saw this new book on the shelf at the library – but super duper disappointed when I started reading it. I am very close to putting it down, not finishing it, and pretending I never read it, because its corny, boring, and nothing like her other stuff! I loved GG and It Girl for the fashion references and juicy drama. Cum Laude doesn’t have any fashion or drama in it so far. It’s very blah and juvenile, even though it is set in a college with older kids! She drops the “f-bomb” quite a lot, and it just makes the story even more corny.
I do NOT recommend it.

You’re also not the first person I’ve heard say that Cum Laude isn’t very good. I loooved Gossip Girl & It Girl (don’t like GG the show though), so was hoping it’d be awesome. Since so many people have said it’s bad, I’m not even going to buy it!
I saw some Dr. Scholl’s flats like that at Target. Fabulous idea!
