Breastfeeding Friendly Dresses

For an entire year and a half, while I was nursing/pumping for Annabelle, I avoided dresses or anything one piece in my closet. There were plenty of times I wanted to look and feel pretty in a dress, but it was just too much of a hassle to pull my entire top off for breastfeeding. Then one day I remembered I had an old wrap dress in my closet and VOILA! Life changed.

Not only is a wrap dress convenient for nursing, but it is also flattering on any body type. There is something slimming about the wrap front style. My poor Mom boobs are deflated from nine months of breastfeeding, but when I put on a wrap dress, my breasts look perky and normal.

One of my favorite bags in my closet is the Longchamp Le Pliage Medium Tote. I have collected a few colors and sizes over the years, but navy and black are my most used Longchamp Totes. The Longchamp Le Pliage Tote is a great handbag for Moms because there is a lot of space to carry diapers, wipes, etc. This black market tote is half the price!

There are only a few pair of sandals that I rotate on a daily basis during the warmer weather. If you can splurge, I recommend a pair of Tory Burch Miller sandals. The Tory Burch Miller Sandals are comfortable, durable, and versatile. They come in a variety of colors as well. My tan patent leather sandals are about 5 years old and look brand new. I have my eye on a darker tan pair as well.

As far as accessories go, the combinations are countless when wearing a wrap dress. I love to wear the same coordinates necklace every day. My mom bought me the necklace for my birthday a last year since both of my daughters were born at the same hospital and I always want to remember the place!
