While we are in Florida for the week, Mcmuffin is staying with his Uncle Chris. We are so lucky to have a friend that has agreed to take him for the WHOLE WEEK because I could not imagine him staying home by himself. Seriously… little Muffin all alone. Ugh, the thought makes me shiver.

So leading up to bringing him to his Uncle’s house has been a disaster. I am talking serious anxiety here. I even took a Xanax. I bought his favorite treats, a ton of his favorite food, new food bowls, a brand new feather toy, cleaned his litter box, and have given him lots of extra love…..I’ve packed the car….and now I just can’t seem to bring him to his Uncle’s house.
My husband and I are leaving for one night and leaving the cats alone and I have it too! I know it’s just one night, but I keep thinking “But they need me! Leia is just a baby! How can I leave her?” ๐
I am so happy it’s not just me!
Poor McMuff…he’s going to miss his mama.
I also get separation anxiety, when we leave our kitties, but just try and think he’s got a buddy to keep him company. Hopefully a new place will be exciting for him and he won’t miss you too much!
My sister watched my dog for me and I was worried the whole time. The hubs kept telling me to relax but I just couldn’t. It’s hard but just keep telling yourself that he is in good hangs.
Totally understand the separation anxiety thing! It’s so rough being away from your fur baby. Hope you have lots of fun in Florida!
