Want to know how to have a New England Clambake Rehearsal Dinner? Enjoy all of the details to my sister’s traditional New England clambake themed rehearsal dinner at our Connecticut home.
A New England Clambake Rehearsal Dinner
On Memorial Day weekend, my sister’s fiancé’s parents hosted the wedding rehearsal dinner in my parent’s backyard in Connecticut. The weather was perfect, the food incredible, and the garden florals were beautiful.
The groom’s parents hired Forks and Fingers Catering By Design to create a classic New England clambake. We grew up attending my Grandma’s famous traditional clambakes right in this backyard!
The clambake menu included whole lobsters, NY Strip, little neck clams, andouille sausage, corn on the cob, red potatoes and coleslaw. A traditional New England lobster dinner would not be complete without personal lobster cracking kits for each guest!
Most of the rehearsal dinner decor was put together by the bride and groom’s parents. The flowers are from local gardens and Trader Joe’s. The large tabletop initials are from Home Goods.
