Am I the only person who missed USA win their game in the World Cup yesterday?!! Trust me though – it was not by choice. I was learning muchos important things for my future career as Mrs. Teacher Bear.

SYTYCD Dance dance dance
I must say that this season of SYTYCD is stressing me out. It seems like the judges have nothing but negative comments for the dancers (except for stupid Cristina who bothers me while they seem to just adore her. ugh.). Last night I turned on the show 30 minutes into it so I could fast forward most of the judges’ reviews, for I felt like I was going to have a panic attack for the dancers, esp. after the bollywood, crump, and Kent’s last number!!!! What did you all think of those routines?
My favorite of the night had to be Lauren with Dominic doing Lyrical Hip Hop. I felt that Lauren really proved to the world why she is an incredible dancer by adhering to the judge’s remarks about her lack of emotion and connection to her dance last week. I felt that she was very believable, especially considering the fact that I highly doubt she has ever been in an abusive relationship. The routine actually reminded me of Chelsie and Mark’s Hip Hip number to “Bleeding Love” two seasons ago – which I also LOVED. And I love Chelsie. And Mark.

What did you think of Kent and Courtney at the end of the show?
I won’t lie… I was totally uncomfortable – but not in a bad way – sort of like a giggly embarrassed kind of way. Kent is just so smiley and it’s hard to take him seriously when he is trying to be like a lion. I feel like he is that kid who would freak the heck out and laugh the whole time he was with a girl. You know what I mean?? He probably calls tots “boobies” hahaha.
um. thqt kitten video has to be one the funniest things i’ve seen in a LONG time. i LOVE how about half way through he looks down and is like “woah, what the heck is that thing down there?” and then a little bit later he leans over to give himself a little rub on the wall as he goes by. no biggie. just ridin’ a turtle. i do it everyday. ha!
i only got half way through my DVR’ed SYTYCD but i agree, the judges were being POOP heads!!! what was UP their butts last night!?!? i’ll let you know what i think when i finish tonight!!! 🙂
also, my identification word is “boodle” – i’m going to start calling baby bottoms that. boodles. or my mister, which ever feels more natural …
My favorite was Robert’s Tango and my least fave was AdeChike’s Contemporary. I wholeheartedly agree with you about the judges, stupid Cristina and Lauren! I don’t know what the judges want from these kids! Is Adam Shankman annoying you as much as he is me?!
OMG I was so stressed watching SYTYCD last night too! I thought Lauren did a really great job and I adore Kent! In fact, I actually voted for him last night. I never vote but I just really like him. He is too cute and I love his personality.
I am so tired of the judges. I tape it and just fast forward through all the judging. And I don’t think I really like the new setup where they dance with an all star. It should be interesting to see who is voted off tonight!
Haha I totally agree with you about it being uncomfortable with Kent and Courtney. He’s just so smiley and not at the right times! It was also strange when Lauren and Dominic finished their dance and were talking with Cat…Dominic was rubbing Lauren’s back vigorously and then his hand moved up to Cat’s shoulder.
