Goodbye Mr. Heat Miser…hello Mr. Chiller. Thankfully the a/c is fixed in our building and we no longer are working in a homemade sauna. They had to close our office yesterday because it was a lovely 93 degrees in here, and Monday we were let go early due to the climbing temperature. Yuck. Now that I am back to work I have a TON of stuff to do before Friday…
Mr. H has been gone for two days at a training seminar in Maryland at his company’s corporate office. I was fine being alone until last night when I had a terrible nightmare involving Mr. H, my bff M, hippies, drugs, alien terrorists, and Will Ferrell. When I woke up I was so sad that Mr. H wasn’t there so I could give him a big hug for not really being a drug addict hippie. Then as I got ready for work this morning I kept thinking of how lonely I was and I would take all the clothes on the floor and the cups next to the sink instead of in the sink to have him back at home. He returns tomorrow night…late…and I can’t wait until he is back.
In less than two days my sisters and momma are gracing me with their presence…I am taking a half day so I can pick them up at the train station. We plan on going to lay out by my pool and gossip until Mr. H gets out of work. Then we are heading to happy hour at some hoppin places followed by a yummy dinner to celebrate the girls being in town and L and Mr. H’s May birthdays. Woohoo!
Tonight I have Weighted Ballet Barre class to look forward to and SYTYCD’s Top 20 perform at 8pm on Fox!! I will have my complete review of their performances tomorrow, as well as my favorites for the season (if you are interested of course).
P.S. Mr. H has finally started reading my blog… and he loves it!! He may even do a little guest post. If he does – would you all like to ask him some questions or should I tell him to wing it???

Hey! Im so jealous that y’all are going in October! The last time we went (before the honeymoon) was in October and it is SUCH a great time of year there. It definitely still feels like Summer but there are less people, so it’s perfect! We always stay in Kihei which is on the Wailea end of the island. We like it because it has more of a “local” feel. If you have any questions about the best stuff to do or places to eat, shop, etc. I would be more than happy to help!
