Shopping for a toddler this season? Here are gift ideas for three year old girls.
Annabelle just celebrated her third birthday with a sparkly ballerina party. She received a few adorable outfits and some really great toys. With her birthday so close to Christmas, it is hard to tell people what to buy for her.
Santa is bringing an American Girl Bitty Baby that she is sure to go crazy over, but I found a bunch of items I know she will love. Here are some gifts for a three year old girl that are sure to make her smile.
Dress Up Clothes
Annabelle loves to dress up in whatever she thinks looks fancy (or finds within reach of my closet). This Disney Princess Dress Up Trunk has three outfits for your little girl, plus accessories to go with each costume.
If your girl likes high heels like my girl, then she needs the matching Disney Princess High Heels . Annabelle wears a size 7 in toddler shoes and these high heels are pretty big on her, so they have a couple years of wear in them.
Long gone are the paper dolls I played with as a child. The new toy is a magnetic dress up doll (which is so much easier for a little girl to play with). The Melissa & Doug Disney Princess Magnetic Dress Up Dolls are a lot of fun, but come with small pieces so keep your tiny tots away. Annabelle loves putting different outfits on Ariel and then placing her around the house.
Melissa and Doug Sticker Pads are great gifts for three year olds!
We have been a huge fan of reusable sticker pads for the last year or so. Annabelle enjoys playing with the different scenes and theme packs and I love that she can’t put the stickers all over the house. We’ve only ever bought Melissa & Doug Reusable Sticker Pads, but I am sure there are other brands out there.
If Annabelle could really be Dorothy, she would. She has watched The Wizard of Oz at least 50 times since it aired the night before Thanksgiving on television. We are getting her the DVD so she can watch it when we are on the road. She also has a Dorothy costume and ruby red slippers that she refuses to take off most days.
Since Annabelle isn’t interested in actual coloring books, I’m surprised at how much she enjoys Magic Ink Picture Books. I’ve never seen her sit so long with something! They are easy to pack in your travel bag, so you can bet she will have a few for our holiday trips.
Everyone who comes to play at our house adores the Li’l Woodzeez Playset. Annabelle has a plane and cottage for her little friends, plus a ton of accessories. I don’t recommend these toys for anyone who isn’t into imaginative play or might not do well with small pieces. All of the figurines and their accessories can be kept in a plastic storage bags.
