After what feels like the longest week in awhile, Friday is finally here! We had a few unseasonably warm days that drove us indoors and allowed for germs to spread between the girls. Annabelle had croup at the beginning of the week and the cough coming from Ailey has me believing she now has it too. Regardless of the sickness in our house, we had a great time last weekend and some fun moments this week. Here are my Friday Favorites – enjoy!
The Sweetest Baby Doll AND Giveaway
Both Annabelle and Ailey’s first baby dolls were the Wee Baby Stella Doll by Manhattan Toys. She is soft, cuddly, and has life-like features. The magnetic mouth with pacifier and bottle accessories encourage nurturing role play and builds dexterity. Our girls love Wee Baby Stella so much!
We are so excited to share with you the latest Wee Baby Stella news! You can now CREATE YOUR OWN Wee Baby Stella Doll with the online tool here! Select your skin tone, hair style, and an exclusive outfit to create your very own unique Wee Baby. Each customized doll purchase includes: one soft doll in black & white onesie, one black & white magnetic pacifier, and one outfit – all in adorable gift packaging.
Chili Sauce Making, Celebrate Wallingford, and a Bagel Brunch
Every weekend this fall has been packing with fun activities – we made chili sauce with my Dad’s side of the family, attended Celebrate Wallingford, and then went to a Bagel Brunch at my sister’s.
Candid Family Moments
Not many people realize the amount of pictures I have to take before I get the shot I want for a sponsored post. While working on something about family dinners, I set up my tripod and self timer to capture my gang eating outside on the deck. Ailey kept looking at the camera when she was supposed to ignore it and then the sisters got into it.
I kind of love this moment… Brandon and I pretending we don’t hear the girls, Ailey looking at her big sister like she is about to fight her, and we can only imagine what Annabelle’s face looks like. Isn’t it funny how a 2 and 4 year old can give you a preview of what they’ll be like at the dinner table in 12 years?
Dopplergangers
Thursday morning I woke up to a text from an old Georgia friend asking if Ailey and I were in a picture she saw on Facebook…
While I would love to say that we were the models for this Meme (that’s actually about Target), we are not. However, the woman and child do have an uncanny resemblance to myself and Ailey.
Home Renovation Update
Brandon’s vision for the exterior of our home is SO CLOSE to being complete. I’m beyond proud of his work painting our blue shutters a beautiful glossy black (DIY post coming soon). He also painted our doors a gorgeous red! We are installing black storm doors and on the hunt for black exterior light fixtures. After those are installed, all that’s left is handling the crazy bushes in front of the house.
Channeling my Inner Blair
I had a long overdue blogger photo shoot with Elizabeth Grant Photography this week and chose a few outfits that had me channeling my inner Blair Waldorf. Gossip Girl anyone?
Sherpa Pullover – A Fall Must Have
I posted this Sherpa Pullover on my Instagram Stories and had so many request for where I found it – if you head to my Boscov’s post you’ll see that’s where I picked up this $15 cozy fall must have. Here are some similar Sherpa Pullovers if you cannot find this in your size online!
