When you spend half a week on vacation Friday seems to show up a lot more quickly than normal. Today I’m sharing another life lately update, with snippets from our Vermont Vacation to Basin Harbor and other summer details from the last week. Enjoy my Friday Favorites in July Part 2.
Basin Harbor Resort in Vergennes, VT
For four days my family visited one of the most classic New England resorts, Basin Harbor in Vergennes, VT. The all inclusive family resort is located on Lake Champlain a little over four hours away from our home in Connecticut. We had an incredible trip, so much fun we all wanted to stay for the remainder of the week. If Brandon and I didn’t need to be back for work, then we might have never left.

What’s Coming Up…
We are facing a heat wave in Connecticut so I’m spending the weekend INDOORS. The extreme heat makes my allergies flare and I often get a headache from high temps. I’m okay with staying inside because I have quite a bit of work to do. Next week our babysitter returns and I’m excited to be able to start a few fun projects for Caitlin Houston Blog. I will have to come back and revisit your blog! Your daughters are cuties and looks like a wonderful place to vacation! We have spent a lot of summer indoors too with it being way too hot outside but still taking advantage of the pool in the evenings and a walk early mornings.
