We are at another summer Friday while staying at my parent’s house in Connecticut. Today I’m sharing my weekly favorites.

There is a reason my daughter has always called my parents’ dog, “No, No.” She has lost more snacks to the greedy trap of fat Gwenny in the last 3.5 years and as she gets older, she has founds ways to get her back through taunting. I don’t know who I feel bad for anymore… the poor old deaf beagle or the fed up toddler.

Annabelle wants to be a great big sister – helping Ailey stand is her new favorite task. Both girls think its a grand ole time, but I, however, do not. The other day Annabelle walked into the dining room holding Ailey by the arms and Ailey was laughing away but all I could picture was a disaster waiting to happen.
first birthday prep.
Somehow the first birthday party has come together, even though I only started planning a week ago. I have to give a huge shout out to Basic Invite for providing us with invitations to the party! Obviously most of the information for the party has been removed above, but you can see how adorable it is!

My favorite shop – J.Crew Factory – is having an extra 30% off clearance sale this weekend. I only wear J.Crew Factory jeans these days because they fit the best and one of my favorite styles is less than $50, plus 30% off! I really love the ruffle neck and bell sleeve trend they’re highlighting for $35 or less, especially this tank top.
