one. WINTER BREAK
Today is our last day of school before we are off until January 4th. I am beyond thrilled that I get to spend the next 16 days with my family. We have lots of fun stuff planned for our break – visiting Santa, hosting Christmas Day dinner, and a big trip to Connecticut! Annabelle has been cheering every morning with me as we countdown the days we have left until our vacation, and when I get home this evening, we will officially being our celebration!
two. Solution Photographie.
Gosh I feel so lucky that my good friend is such a talented photographer because she is always here to capture incredible moments in my life. Annabelle hiding under the table at her second birthday party – smiling mischievously – might be one of my favorite pictures of her ever. Thank you Christiana! Thank you thank you!
three. GA weather.
I complain about the weather here in Georgia often… and it’s because I pretty much hate it. However, I am not as bitter now seeing the warm temps all up the East Coast. My family in CT is just as miffed as I am that the forecast for Christmas is looking terrible. Who the heck says, “It’s Christmas!” when its 74 and raining? Not me. Next year we are seriously planning a trip to somewhere where it snows for Christmas!
four. Star Wars
Yesterday was Star Wars day at school! I chose to dress up at Princess Leia from the Hoth Base. There were so many cute little Princess Leias at school in all different outfits from various episodes. There were many plain Star Wars shirts, four hairy Chewbaccas, and a slew of various characters from the movies. My best friend Kim was a modern day Darth Vader with her own little Star Wars baby on the way. You can’t even tell she is 16 weeks pregnant!
five. Freshly Picked Plaid.
My Mom surprised Annabelle with a pair of plaid Freshly Picked moccs for her birthday and I am obsessed!! They are so precious and were so perfect for her birthday party theme. I wish I had a matching pair for myself!
So cute! that picture of her under the table is heart melting!! I am loving the weather this year in Virginia, but I grew up on the west coast, so I am ok without the snow! Though my husband is praying for it! I hope you enjoy your time with your family! Xo
