Friday Favorites 30

If Friday had a face I would kiss it on the mouth. Today Annabelle, Brandon, and I are well on our way to visit my family in Connecticut for my little sister and her fiance’s pre-wedding festivities. There’s a boys only stag, ladies only cocktail shower, and lots of last minute wedding planning to be done! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Happy Friday!

one. a maxi for the pregnant Married Maid of Honor.

For my sister’s bridal shower I knew I wanted to wear something that was long… full coverage… and hugged my bump so I didn’t look like I ate too many of the donuts on the sweets table. I came across Urban Outfitter’s Ecote Wrap Maxi after literally searching every online store known to man – ordered it in what a size I thought would fit – and crossed my fingers. Last time I tried it on was a month ago, so here’s to hoping it fits tomorrow!

two. non-maternity maternity pants.

After hemming and hawing for what seemed like years, I decided to splurge on a nice pair of leggings/workout pants. I’m a huge fan of Lululemon’s quality (not the price), so I tweeted them, asking if they had anything for pregnant girls. The Lululemon by my school told met to come in and try pants on – and I was excited to find out their manager just had a baby and wore the High Times full-on luon pant her whole pregnancy! They are so comfortable, come up high enough right now that they’re not cutting my weird belly in half, and they make my butt like less like a mom-butt and more like a young lady butt.

three. March Madness. 

I’ve taken the last few years off from playing in any bracket tourneys because my record was HORRIBLE. I’m trying two different pick-em leagues this year, which gives me a reason to pay attention to the games, and so far so good. Here’s to hoping I don’t come in LAST like usual.

four. grow baby grow. 

13. 15. 17. Today I am 18! I don’t have a photo yet – because as you’re reading this I am either in the air on my way to CT OR already there. Getting my long sister-wife-hair attended to. No I am not hacking it all off – just finally having my favorite hairdresser tend to the weed that is growing from my scalp. So not only is my midsection growing rapidly, but so is my hair!

Her face when I told her it was going to snow this weekend at Noni and Grampy’s house. 

How could you NOT be obsessed with this picture?? Her hair is a hot mess and the look on her face is priceless. Oh she is the best.
