one. Powder, Bronzer, and Blush in ONE compact.
I have always found myself to be makeup illiterate – aka I don’t know how to put it on correctly. I have visited numerous makeup counters trying to learn how to wear it, but I’m a hopeless cause. I also don’t know how to buy the right products …. until NOW. A lovely lady at Ulta introduced me to Pur’s Epic Illusion Artist’s Blush and Contour Palette. I don’t know how to contour, but these six shades act as a powder, bronzer, and blusher for me!
two. pretty eyeshadows.
My friend Tina gave me an AWESOME eyeshadow palette for my birthday that came with an eyeshadow primer. This stuff is amazing – the eyeshadow actually sticks to my eyelids! I love the colors in Lorac’s Unzipped Palette and feel its perfect for my skin tone and eye color. They are understated, but fun!
three. this.
Enough said. I hate you Daylight Savings.
four. the beauty of this world.
Sometimes there are no words to describe the beauty of the world we live in. I snapped this photo out the window on the plane Monday night. I was speechless.
five. Christmas.
I know I know I know… Halloween is tomorrow and Thanksgiving is still a month away. BUT I have held out this long and now it’s time for me to start burning my Christmas-y candles and making lists to Santa and listening to my favorite music and secretly adding one Christmas decoration to my house at a time. I filled out a teacher wish list sheet yesterday and I am almost embarrassed to give it to my Room Mom since half of my favorite things have the word “Christmas” in them. Tis the season 🙂
Linking up with:
Girl I am SO WITH YOU. I pulled out the pine scented candles a few days ago and I am literally going to start burning them on Sunday!! Love this time of year!

I love Christmas. It reminds me so much of being pregnant and pregnancy insomnia that would keep me up and watching Hallmark movies by the light of the tree!
