Good morning blogfriends! I am very excited about today – we woke up early, brewed some yummy coffee infused with pumpkin spice, and watched an episode of Newsroom. Then we are headed to the gym, Trader Joe’s, and to see “The Dark Knight Rises” at the Imax Theater. Finally, tonight is Pizza Night in the Bear Household and I am going to try and redeem myself from the past few homemade pizza disasters I encountered over the summer. There were some awful pizzas made….
Last night was awesome. Mr. Bear and I went on a date for the first time in a very long time. We just went to a little BYOB place by our house, but it was so nice to get all dressed up and go out to dinner. The food was OK (we have been there a few times before), but we had a great time laughing and catching up with one another. I had been away for three weeks after all. I think that we both agree I usually can make a better meal than most places around us, but there is something about being served that is so much fun.
I wore this awesome dress my Grandma-in-law bought me at the beginning of the summer from a store that I am almost too embarrassed to name. I have been obsessed with it since June, and waiting for the perfect night to wear it. Now that is it the end of the summer, I had to wear it before white dresses were no longer allowed! Isn’t it adorable?
I received an email yesterday from a friend that really warmed my heart. Knowing that my blog posts inspired her to recognize the negativity around her and to want to “hop on the happiness train” is such an incredible feeling. I, too, witnessed a lot of negativity the past few days from people who were unhappy with certain changes in our workplace environment. Last year I would have been complaining right along with them. But now, I have to accept those changes, and steer clear from the negative emotions. I am overjoyed that my friend is doing the same. Thank you again for emailing me – you know who you are. =0)
And to those of you that have been commenting on my posts – please don’t stop!! I may seem like I am strong and unstoppable in my quest for happiness, but I am not. I know this isn’t going to be easy. And I will be honest with you all as to when I have a bad day. So, please, keep commenting!
Well, Mr. Bear is waiting for me to go to the gym!! I hope you all have a fantastic Saturday!

I am finding your happiness quest contagious 🙂 I am in an environment where I am surrounded by a lot of negativity (cranky bitchy army wives to name a few) and I am going to try to start finding the happiness around me instead of the negativity. Thank you for opening my eyes a bit 🙂
