Quite a few months before Ailey’s actual first birthday, I decided I would like to go with a watermelon theme for the big celebration. One of her first favorite fruits was actually watermelon, plus with her birthday being in the middle of August, it was only fitting to choose to plan her party around the summer staple. I decided that watermelon invitations were the first item I needed to purchase.
While looking for invitations I was contacted by Basic Invite, a truly custom invitation company that allows you to put your own touches on stationary. They told me to pick out an invitation for Ailey’s first birthday party, but I couldn’t find a watermelon themed invite for kids. An awesome chat window popped up while I was looking and I was able to message a representative who walked me through the personalization of a summer picnic invitation.
It was so easy to change the text, information, and even colors (if I had wanted to). Sometimes it is hard to find stationary online that you can customize to make it your own, but Basic Invite allows you to do it all. I ordered Ailey’s first birthday invitations, along with a set of free envelopes, and they were at my doorstep in just a few days.
The invitations were printed on a sturdy signature matte, but there are so many different paper options. There is also the option for a few various shaped invitations. After choosing the paper type, shape, and quantity, you will decide if you want a pattern, solid color, or even a photo on the back. Finally, you will choose an envelope setting – for no extra cost you can have the guest and return addresses printed on each envelope! There is also an option for some invitations for a different color envelope.
We haven’t ordered any yet, but I’m looking at the cutest Thank You cards.
If you’re looking for invitations for an upcoming event, personalized stationary, or even printables, like recipe cards, Basic Invite is your one stop shop. You can receive 15% off everything sitewide with code 15FF51.
