In 8 hours I will be FREE… of little smelly boys who likes to play “Meteor” in the driveway (you take a large chunk of gravel, throw it in the air, and cheer when it explodes onto the pavement into tiny black rocks). Until then… I will be here….where I can’t go to the bathroom for more than 2 minutes before someone is banging on the door or screaming outside that their brother is strangling them.
Mr. Bear is already in SF (for worky) so tonight I am going to be HOME ALONE! At five o’clock, I plan on going to get my tree climbing feet a little pedicure and possibly some lovin for my hot mess hands. If I had time for a massage I would get one. I might run into the mall by our place to look for a little something to wear when we go to Napa Valley. Then I’m heading home to put on 90’s Music Channel, turnin it up reeaaallll loud, and gettin my groove on while I pack for SF. I’m talking so loud that the neighbors wonder if they have gone back in time. Yah! Mr. Bear hates when I put the 90s station on… partly because they play terrible music and partly because I like to sing said terrible music in my terrible voice.
I can’t wait to be high in the sky on my way to San Francisco tomorrow afternoon…I just have to make it through today… WISH ME LUCK!

you are too cute. i totally do the same thing when i clean, but with the 80s music channel. and i may or may NOT sing ultra loudly, off-tune, in my own terrible voice 🙂

Oh I felt your pain when I read the lines about crying on the Mr’s shoulder and bathing for an extended period to get rid of the grime from a day spent looking for ants. I was a nanny for 3 boys last summer. It was a looong summer. I made the executive decision that my hubby and I will NEVER have 3 kids. ESPECIALLY if we have 2 boys…we will not have a 3rd to try for a girl. Pffft!
