Guess what?? I think its officially COLD here in Connecticut. My little Georgia babies are shivering as I type this because it feels like 31 degrees outside. All of our clothes are still packed away in a pod in GA until we close on a house, so we have to buy a little here and there, or make do with what we have. A cold weather staple is a thick windproof sweater and luckily, I have one of those in my closet.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever wanted to steal your Grandpa/Dad/Husband’s sweater? Strange question, I know … but think about it. There has to have been one time that you look at some male you know and thought, that sweater looks so much more comfortable than anything I own. There is something to be said about a thick knit sturdy sweater and L.L Bean’s Fisherman Sweater is where it’s at. This post isn’t sponsored – just a little shoutout to a birthday gift my hubs bought me this year.
Truthfully, I forgot what cold feels like (and sisters, if you’re reading this, you can laugh at me now). To brave the next few months, I snagged this coat during a super sale and have been collecting sweaters over the last few months. What I don’t have is a pair of gloves … and those are necessities. Anyone want to knit me a pair?
I’m headed to find Ailey a coat with some meat on it today and Annabelle has one from her Nana on it’s way here. I’ve put together some of my favorite sweaters for this season – some that I own and other’s I’m dreaming will find their way into my closet. Stay warm my friends!
So pretty! I love how you layered the tops!
Thank you!!!
