Turning another year older loses it’s charm after all of the milestone ages – 10 (double digits), 16 (driver’s license), 18 (legal!), 21 (alcohol!). I wasn’t happy to turn 33 this year, but in the last few weeks I realized it is silly to be upset that I’m celebrating another year of life. Getting older doesn’t have to be a bad thing! I’m living my best life this year and haven’t felt happier. I’m thankful I was able to blow out my candles Sunday night surrounded by many of my favorite people in a room filled with love. Here is a recap of my birthday weekend – This is 33!
My cousin snapped this gem of a photo…. and it makes me laugh so hard because it’s unflattering, but real life.
My cousin, Sam, hosted our first “Cousins Day,” – the rebirth of a tradition we had as kids to get together every Sunday in the fall. The Dads watched football, the Moms hung out in the kitchen, and we played for hours together. Even though we were missing a few of us, it was still a ton of fun.
On Sunday morning I hosted a Private Shopping event at The LOFT in South Windsor. We had such a great turnout and I can’t believe how many people came to shop with me!
We had the BEST birthday dinner I could ask for on Sunday night. There was a giant charcuterie board, chicken parmesan, penne all vodka, and apple cake. My family stayed late, dancing in the kitchen, and I went to bed the happiest girl in the world.
I haven’t posted a bunch of personal photos like this in a long time on the blog, but I wanted to share some of these special moments with you all. My birthday weekend couldn’t have been any better and I’m truly thankful for all the love and wishes I received. Cheers to 33!
Happy birthday! 33 is a great age!

Happy Belated Birthday!!!!
I was so sad I couldn’t make it to your event! I had to turn down that and another denim event that day. Why is it that everything fun happens when you are busy? Ha ha.
Happy 33rd birthday! What cute family photos, it looks like you had a wonderful birthday weekend!
