Wednesday’s SYTYCD was AWESOME!
For the first time this season, I liked more than three dances. Here are my favs:
Lauren and Mark – Tahitian
They looked just like the Hula dancers the Bears saw in Hawaii at the Luau. I have tried shaking my hips like that and its HARD! Kudos to you Lauren!
Robert and Allison – Contemporary
Total sobfest (in a good way). Touched my heart and made me think of a lot of personal things going on right now that I’d rather not address. Isn’t it amazing how a dance can do that to you?? Travis Wall is incredible and I hope he wins an Emmy sometime soon!

Lauren and Billy – Jazz
Adorable! So cute and fun. I like them together.
Adechike and Kent – Contemporary
Another emotional one. I could not believe how smooth they danced together… in Mia’s words, “the organic quality and stregnth in their movements” was so powerful and moving. Love love this new choreographer.
Robert and Katherine – Disco
I agree with Mia on the lack of masculinity in the dancer… but seriously, Robert is awesome! I <3 him!
And Katherine was never this sassy on her actual season. I like her a lot better now.
UPDATE: I knew she (I won’t say who if you haven’t watched the Results show yet) was going to go… who did you want voted off??
I missed it! (but taped it and will watch it tonight) However, I did see the first dance and WOW, I was thinking the same thing. Reminding me so much of the luau in Hawaii. Paradise cove by any chance?!
