to spend days making heart after heart for the families of Newtown with your class instead of teaching

to hug your first grade students every 5 minutes
to tell your first grade students you love them
to actually love your students….because I do
to call your student’s parents and let them know their child is awesome “just because”
that sometimes my students drive me crazy – because in the end, I would protect them with my own life.
You just made me cry. I LOVE this! Thanks so much for being the great teacher that you are. You have probably showed some of these kids some loving that they haven’t received in a LONG time. They are ALWAYS going to remember you with love in their hearts! Congrats on making it to the news. HUGS!!!! XOXOXOX

Several years ago I tutored 1st grade students in an after school program and those little ones just hold a special place in your heart….forever! It’s been years and I can remember each one of their little faces – that is so awesome that you let them make hearts instead of taught 🙂 go you! by the way, just found your blog from the link up!
