Guess who is showing her support (along with her students) for Newtown, CT?
PLEASE Click the link below to find out…and then SHARE it!
It’s OK…
to spend days making heart after heart for the families of Newtown with your class instead of teaching
to talk with little kids about what happened at Sandy Hook
to hug your first grade students every 5 minutes
to tell your first grade students you love them
to actually love your students….because I do
to call your student’s parents and let them know their child is awesome “just because”
that sometimes my students drive me crazy – because in the end, I would protect them with my own life.
You just made me cry. I LOVE this! Thanks so much for being the great teacher that you are. You have probably showed some of these kids some loving that they haven’t received in a LONG time. They are ALWAYS going to remember you with love in their hearts! Congrats on making it to the news. HUGS!!!! XOXOXOX
I’m a teacher too, so I can 100% relate to this. And you know that the parents appreciate those “just because” phone calls. 🙂
Have a great day!

You are one of those truly awesome teachers who care so much for their students…I only hope my daughter has a teacher like you when she’s in school 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Kera! I hope that I can continue bringing love into my classroom and teaching my children how to show support and loves towards others as well!
Several years ago I tutored 1st grade students in an after school program and those little ones just hold a special place in your heart….forever! It’s been years and I can remember each one of their little faces – that is so awesome that you let them make hearts instead of taught 🙂 go you! by the way, just found your blog from the link up! Excited to be following along!
Thank you so much Sippy Cups for stopping by! Isn’t it amazing how incredible 1st grade students can be? xoxo
