From the time Annabelle realized she had control over her little feet, she made a point of keeping them bare. She tore off her socks, kicked off her booties, and threw herself into a tizzy if we tried to force a pair of shoes on her. Then one day I won a pair of Freshly Picked gold moccasins in a giveaway.
You would have thought I put real gold on her feet the way she looked at them. Annabelle didn’t yell, or kick, or try to take them off. She actually touched them adoringly. Now, four months later, they are still her favorite pair of shoes. At least one of her favorite pairs… she has four now!
Everywhere you look, babies and toddlers are wearing moccasins, but Freshly Picked Moccasins are the creme de la creme in baby shoe world. Annabelle receives more compliments on her Freshly Picked moccasins than you would believe. Older women at the grocery store – her baby school teachers – other babies – they always stop to comment on how adorable her shoes are. I don’t blame them. They are stinkin’ adorable.
If I didn’t think I would look like Pocahontas, I would totally want a pair. Some people may think fresh picked moccasins are pricey, but when you consider the quality of the shoe, and the length of time your child will be wearing them, you’ll realize they are more then worth it. Getting a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins is going to be right of passage in my little family. Our next baby will get Annabelle’s hand-me-downs and my sisters’ kids (whenever they have them) will each get a pair from Auntie Caitlin.

The shoes stretch and have a bit of wiggle room, so babies can wear them longer than other shoes. They’re durable and feel strong, not flimsy. Oh it’s just so hard to decide on a pair! Bella is almost outgrown hers and needs some soon so this would be completely amazing to win these! I’d probably either go with birch or a brown color. 🙂
My daughter loves her FP moccs! She only has one pair that fit right now. She would LOVE a pair in the rose gold or platinum in an infant size 4. But really any pair would look beautiful on her little feet!
