9 Facts About Me I Bet You Didn’t Know
I bet you didn’t know that I was born in Michigan, grew up in Connecticut, and have lived in Tennessee, Maryland, and Georgia.
I bet you didn’t know that I am as blind as a bat. I wear contacts and glasses.
I bet you didn’t know that I wanted to teach high school my whole life – but have been a first grade teacher for four years. I am not certified to teach high school because when I started my teaching program in Baltimore, I realized there was no way any city teenager would take me seriously.
I bet you didn’t know that I am usually one of the first people on the dance floor … and the last.
I bet you didn’t know that I LOVE cheese but cannot eat it.
I bet you didn’t know that B and I went to Norway as our last hurrah before having a baby… and found out we were pregnant 3 weeks later! It was a great last hurrah…
I bet you didn’t know I was a competitive dancer in high school. You REALLY wouldn’t know that if you saw me on the dance floor either… because I like to dance badly on purpose.
I bet you didn’t know I love cold weather, but live in the South – where it is rarely cold – so I get grumpy in the winter.

I love these! I also love cheese. I really want to teach high school, but have only taught jr. high the 3 years I’ve taught.
I didn’t know you always wanted to teach high school! They are all likely taller than us so that doesn’t help either. I was a substitute for high school once and it was not a good day!
I often have a Starbucks attached to my hand so its hard for my mouth to agree its not a good accessory, but I did just post a Polyvore set on how they go well with a travel outfit to get you through the travel day lol so agree to disagree! 🙂
