I can’t believe I’m writing my 39 week bump update. My pregnancy has flown by and we are so close to meeting Annabelle.
- How far along are you? 39 weeks …. Annabelle is due December 12.
- How I’m feeling: I decided to take a chill pill and stop stressing about when she is going to come. Instead of spazzing about every little contraction like twinge I feel – I have been ignoring them. I know that when real labor starts, it will feel different and that’s when I need to pay attention.
- Labor Signs: Just braxton hicks…
- Total weight gain: 27 lbs.
- Cool baby facts: Annabelle has the hiccups 1-2 times a day – just like her Momma used to have in the womb. Her pink skin is now whitish and she has dropped pretty low in my pelvis.
- How big is baby? We don’t know! But our guess is that she is going to be about 6-7lbs.
- Sleep: Oh I had the night from h-e-double l the other night, so I decided to take a benedryl to help me sleep last night. It worked! 7 hours of sleep with only one pee break.
- Maternity Clothes: All I want to do is wear pj pants and large thermal shirts – I rotate the same 3 outfits from Old Navy.
- Best moment this week: Packing Annabelle’s coming home outfit in her diaper bag.
- Movement: Very slow movements – she seems like she is curled up in a little ball.
- Food cravings: Just ice.
- Food aversions: Nothing
- Belly button in or out: I didn’t think my belly button was going to pop OUT after it went flat a few weeks ago, but now that she is so low, it sticks out through my shirts.
- What I miss: Eating without having heartburn directly afterwards.
- What I’m looking forward to: Our Christmas Elf joining us in the real world.
Congratulations on her almost arrival! Praying for you and your family as you get closer to the birth! She’s going to be beautiful!
XOXO

Awww, anyday now for you! CONGRATS!
You still look great! And definitely going to send some prayers and positive vibes your way for a safe delivery with everyone healthy!!
SO. CLOSE. I am here if you need to cry, vent, jump for joy, talk about mucus plugs or anything else. I hope she comes early for you but REALLY I hope she is born on her due date so we can share a birthday.
hope this is your last bump date! I ate a ton of pineapple the last two weeks before I gave birth. I heard it got things going down their and thinned things out!
Ah I would totally eat it if I didn’t think it would upset my acid reflux and give me heartburn! I hope this is my last bump update too =0)
Thank you! I <3 you!
Thank you so much Jackie!
