There is something truly special about a New England summer. It is such a possible season in a special place that it is often the setting for books, movies, and television shows (just watch The Summer I Turned Pretty). This corner of the country has everything one could want to see- from beautiful beaches to rocky mountains and vast lakes to the green farmlands. Our quaint towns and bustling cities have so much to offer with delicious seafood, craft breweries, historical attractions and more.
We are making the best out of our last six weeks of summer vacation in Connecticut. Every time we cross an item off of our summer bucket list, we think of more activities to add. If you’re looking for new ways to enjoy a New England summer, here are 10 fantastic ideas.
Things to Do during a New England Summer
- Take a ride on one of New England’s Best Antique Carousels.
