What to Pack in Your Hospital Bag (First Pregnancy)
After copious amounts of research and list-making, I have finally packed my hospital bag. I chose items that I know I will need at some point during my stay at the hospital (glasses, hairbrush, change of clothes) – as well as some goodies that I will need during labor (water bottle, massage ball, and hair ties).
Daddy is going to be bringing himself a little survival kit hospital bag as well. Not pictured is a diddy bag (aka toiletry kit) filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash.
Little Annabelle has her own bag packed too! In it: her coming home outfit, a newborn hat and mittens, a few diapers, swaddle blanket, carseat blanket, and a warm snuggly wrap. I’ll post all about her coming home outfit when it arrives since it went to the wrong address!
Ours are packed and ready too! I have pjs, nursing bra, robe, facial wipes, slippers. Most of the same goodies you have packed! I actually love the pjs and robe so much that I want to wear already now!! I can’t wait. I’m getting so excited!
Looks like you’re set! The only thing I would suggest is bringing a bunch of your favorite movies / TV series on DVD. There was a lot of down time both in labor and after and the hospital had pretty much zero channels so it was a lifesaver to have my FRIENDS DVDs with me. 🙂
Excellent information on your blog, thank you for taking the time to share with us. Amazing insight you have on this, it’s nice to find a website that details so much information about hospital bag for childbirth.

Is that a dryer ball??
Haha NO its a massage ball silly!
Me too!!! It is so weird though – packing for a trip and not knowing when you are going to be leaving.

I have Christmas movies in my bag! Just didn’t include it in my collage 🙂
Chapstick and hair ties are totally a MUST!
