The perfect Fall weekend: pumpkin picking with the family and an adult’s only Halloween party.
Pumpkin Picking
Friday afternoon we went pumpkin picking at a local farm. The girls wanted to buy every pumpkin in sight that was orange – all the others were just “weird” according to Annabelle. We came home with one big pumpkin and a bunch of littles. We’re carving it tonight and I can’t wait to see what silly face our pumpkin turns out to have.
Halloween
Brandon and I haven’t been to an adults only Halloween party since college. We were pretty excited about our Wendy Peffercorn and Squints costume… only to discover we weren’t the only Sandlot-loving couple out there. At the party there was another duo and then our friend in NYC had the same idea to dress up with her boyfriend.

The girls are dressing up as a spooky scary witch and chubby little pumpkin tomorrow night. Our town shuts down a portion of Main Street for Halloween trick or treating, so the family and I are parking at my sisters and walking to the event. I’m really excited to see Ailey and Annabelle’s reaction!
I hope everyone is having a fantastic week – don’t forget to head to Instagram to find out who won the DeLezhen custom birthstone necklace!
