So… I finally received my Valentine’s Day gift last night!!!! It was a ginormous blown up canvas print of one of my favorite pictures from the wedding :
It was supposed to look like this:
Obviously that is not us…I found it here.
Instead the picture was blurry and distorted. It looks purple in places where it should not (my wedding dress was white thank you very much Walgreens).
It almost looks like someone painted it, but not really.
Has anyone ever ordered a photo printed on canvas? If so – FROM WHERE?!?!?!

I ordered one of our wedding pictures on a canvas from shutterly.com and they did a great job. I love mine!

I ordered one from one of my vendors I work with at work. She did fantastic.
Before her I googled canvas and found a place online I liked.
Good luck!

i’ve used Imagine Canvas nearly a dozen times. I love working with them.. and I’ve gallery-wrapped (where the image wraps around the sides of the canvas) every time. I’ve blown up tons of pictures from our honeymoon in Hawaii and even blew up a picture of my brother-in-law’s proposal as an engagement gift. A-mazing. I LOVE their work. They’re pretty reasonable, too, price-wise. I would definitely recommend them!

I’ve heard great things about Geezees as well, and almost purchased one at Christmas but decided to wait until after the wedding instead. She also does some neat treatments with text, if you want to add that element. Good luck – I know that stinks when it turns out all funkdafied. By the way, love your new header pic!

We’ve used Winkflash for wedding and honeymoon photos and they have always turned out well (even when they say the photo quality is too low).

I actually ordered one from http://www.CanvasPeople.com for my boyfriend for V-Day. I also was not happy with the way it turned out and emailed the company to complain about product. I have been THRILLED with their excellent customer service and they apologized and said the photo was not the right resolution, but it was their fault for not noticing. Anyway, they have offered to reprint a new photo on a larger sized canvas and I’m just waiting for it to arrive. I’m working with Patt and told her I would send customers her way because I have been so happy with their customer service. Good luck!

http://www.kodakgallery.com!!! They may be slightly more expensive than shutterfly.com and snapfish.com and blurb.com, but they stand by their quality. If it’s blurry you can send it back and they’ll send you a new one or refund you instantly!! I love that wedding photo. Best of luck getting it bigger. (By the way, did you start with the original photo from the photographer? I’ve had hug issues with photos from email or facebook photos coming out blurry and distorted…)

I’m not sure what size you are wanting…but I have ordered small canvases from canvaspeople.com

photogonia.com does great work…my friend uses them for her shop all the time.
Plus, they usually offer discounts and great prices!
Hope that helps!

We used http://photofiddle.com/ to get a canvas made from a photo of our dog.
I was very happy with the quality. We weren’t trying to fool anyone into thinking it was actually a hand painted canvas though.
I am going to post photos of it on our blog in the next few days if that might help. : )
