Thanks for the ‘feel better’ wishes on my hateful Starbucks post… while reading your comments I realized that I am seriously quite the complainer. Well, actually, I’ve always known that I am a complainer – its just that I complain on my blog a lot. I hope you all don’t think I am a big whiny baby/Debbie Downer all the time – cause I promise I am an energetic happy chick in real life.
See – I’m a happy girl!Tonight Mr. H and I are going to the Falcons v. Ravens preseason game!! I can’t believe its already football season. Last night I participated in my second fantasy football team draft… yes I am in two different leagues. We probably won’t be able to stay for the whole game tonight though b/c we have to pack our bags for our trip to CT!! We leave directly after work tomorrow and land in New Haven around midnight.
Our plans for the weekend consist of (so far)…
1. My final dress fitting on Saturday morning – if its too small than I will be doing some serious dancing… if its too big than I might cry because I don’t like gaining weight.
2. Mr. H and I will be slipping into costumes of some sort for my nephew’s pirate birthday party later that afternoon! Arrrrggggggg. I hope we get to lead the hunt for buried treasure and bounce in the Moonwalk.
3. A delicious Seafood dinner with the fam Saturday night – destination unknown – and hopefully a reunion with my bff Momo.
4. My FIRST Bridal Shower on Sunday morning. I have no idea what is in store for me – my mom and sister (MOH) have kept their lips sealed – but I know it is going to be so much fun! My family and friends (from both HS and College) will all be there and I can’t wait to spend some QT with my favorite northern ladies.
I purchased this dress yesterday from F21 to wear for two occasions: my bridal shower and a UT Football game. It is definitely more orange than it looks in the picture, and I loves it. I am not a fan of the belt but its too big around my waist so I have to wear it anyways. What do you think?
I also bought 2 new pairs of Land’s End moccasins yesterday. I already have a navy pair that I wear all the time, so I figured I should take advantage of their $11.99 price tag and get two new pairs!
Sounds like an exciting weekend!! I still have to make the pizzas. 🙂 Fred wants to go to a UT game, but he wants to go to one in November. Brrr. So, I won’t get to wear anything really cute! Have fun!
What about taking off the belt that comes with the dress and wearing a brown (or whatever color) with it instead?
