Seriously?? JUNE??

Is it seriously June 1?? Why doesn’t someone figure out how to slow time down already??

Mr. H’s birthday weekend was awesome – dinner on Friday was incredible (if you ever go to Bone’s make sure you try the Scallops, Asparagus, and Mushroom entree), the cake was delicious, and he loved his presents! Sat and Sun was spent in the sun at the H’s pool.

I read a really good book – Mary, Mary – by James Patterson – yesterday while I worked on my tan. I know the book is from 2005, but I just started reading Patterson and I am becoming a big fan. Granted his books give me nightmares, they are intriguing and such a quick read. Summers used to be all about reading for me, but now that I am a big girl with a big girl job, I am forced to speed read books on the weekends. Weeknights are packed with dance/yoga/running, making dinner, and watching my favorite tv shows – or spending time with Mr. H of course.

Did anyone catch the MTV Movie Awards last night? I normally don’t waste my time watching MTV award shows anymore because they have gotten so corny – but last night was HILARIOUS!! Obviously Adam Samberg was a hoot – I loved his “Cool Guys Don’t Look At Explosions” song with Will Ferrell. Bruno’s prank on Eminem was so inappropriate and soooo funny. Mr. H and I are still trying to figure out what the heck Eminem was thinking when he agreed to go along with anything Sascha Baron Cohen wanted to do. We also couldn’t get over Zac Efron’s face when his name was announced in the midst of Bruno’s thong/buttcheek attack on Eminem’s face. My FAVORITE part of the whole show was the New Moon trailer though.

I can not wait for New Moon!!! I loooove Twilight and I am sure Mr. H thinks I am even more of a 13 year old at heart after my reaction last night every time either Robert Pattinson or Twilight was mentioned. I am such a loser and I love it, haha. If you didn’t catch the trailer last night—–here it is!!
