Thank you for all the great suggestions and support on my quest to find the dress! A good friend suggested that I take a look in my closet for a dress for the wedding before I rush out and buy one… and I laughed.
Then I woke up this morning and remembered I had this beauty from Banana Republic circa 2007:
I LOVE this dress… but for some reason believe I spilled that champage in the picture above on it. If I decide to wear it, I am going to have to find it, send it to the dry cleaners, and get my spray tan on.
Let’s say I do wear this dress – save myself $100 – does that mean I can spend that money, plus some more, on a pair of fabulous shoes and perhaps some patterned tights (for the outdoor portion)???!!!
Any suggestions on shoes? Tights? Come on all you fashionistas – help a sista out!
hey! what about silver tights or black ?? Tj Maxx or Target would be best bet trying to find some tights! Leggings might be cute too if you find some neat flats or heels 🙂

mmmk moving right along…I’ve debated on whether to be the angel or the devil on this one, and only because I haven’t been shopping I’m going to say to go out and spend the money saved on something fabulous. I think a fun pair of sparkly shoes (like the ones you featured yesterday) would be awesome. I can’t wait to see the pictures – you are going to look gorgeous!

I absolutely think you can now splurge on beautiful shoes (which is what I usually do….), I am definitely loving the idea of patterned black tights, there are so many nice options right now.

I am the least fashion savvy person you are ever going to meet but I do have to say that that dress is PERFECTO!!! And yes, of course it means that you can buy new shoes and patterned tights. That’s a given!
how about some cute leather bootie heels? Gives it that fall-winter edge 😉
